BIG BOY IN EDO STATE LOSES PROPERTIES WORTH MILLIONS TO EFCC

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has recovered over $49,000 (about N17m) and some exotic cars from the mansion of a suspected Internet fraudster (popularly known as Yahoo boy), In Benin City.

According to EFCC, the feat was made possible because of the anti-graft commission’s new strategic plans to tackle the menace of cyber crimes in the zone.

EFCC gave assurance that the operation would ensure that businesses and properties established and connected to suspected cyber criminals would be confiscated.

The EFCC operatives had so far marked properties in his name of the suspect.
